Crash: Writing to data file during file backup

Cumulus crashed today. Looking at the bug report, it was trying to write to a data file just as that file was being accessed by the automatic backup software (file was locked for access) for backup purposes. Not sure if this warranted a bug report submittal or if this was a known issue.

What version of Cumulus?

By "automatic backup software" what software?
