Battery Recommendations

Post by SUBYDAZZ »

Hi all, I've got a Digitech XC0348 Fine Offset station and was wondering what batteries are the most suited to a station such as this (or any really). I'm after ones that will last the longest in the conditions it experiences being out in the open. We get annual temperatures ranging from 0oC to 45oC where I am. Any ideas?

The current view seems to be to go for Lithium cells such as the Energizer Lithium Ultras. They have much better low temperature performance than standard alkalines. That said my FO transmitter is running in no-name alkalines, and is still going strong at 10 months.

I was thinking alkalines or Lithiums. I actually had a pair of super heavy duties running mine and they appeared to last almost 11 months, which I thought was truly amazing. :)
