Build 961
Steve,
Just installed 961. Deleted month.ini and year.ini before running and it seems to have fixed the rainfall problem.
Well done and thanks for being so committed. Have that well deserved rest now!

Re: Build 961
Works!
I was beginning to think you were some sort of coding, error-free, ultra computer masquerading as a guy named Steve.
Another leap forward for Cumulus.

Re: Build 961
Just to clarify, are we supposed to delete month.ini and year.ini before we install any update beyond 9.58?

Re: Build 961
I've been installing every beta build on release, but overnight here it jumped from 958 to 961!
Deleted month.ini and year.ini before restarting, but highs and lows for this year (heat index, wind chill and apparent temps) only show values since bootup today. Alltime highs and lows are good - they are only for 2010, I being a relative newcomer.

Whatever you want. If they're OK, you can leave them. You can delete them at any time, with Cumulus stopped, and it will attempt to rebuild them when it starts.SUBYDAZZ wrote:Just to clarify, are we supposed to delete month.ini and year.ini before we install any update beyond 9.58?

Re: Build 961
Thanks Steve
Not sure if this is what you meant, but I checked the latest file in the Diags folder (Cumulus.009) which reported a formating error in dayfile.txt. Stopped Cumulus, corrected the error in dayfile.txt and restarted. Same problem persisting. Rechecked cumulus.009 and no error can I see.

Re: Build 961
I just installed 961, I had deleted month.ini and year.ini before I installed. Previously I had 958.
I'm getting funny data in the "Highs and Lows" for this current month, and for today.
The Lowest Windchill and Lowest Apparent Temp in both are saying 0 at a time of 00:03 today.
Low humidity today shows 0 at 00:03 today also.
The monthly high hourly rainfall is 0 (it should at least 2-3mm from rain here on the 1st Nov) and has a timestamp of roughly when I installed this latest beta today (3rd Nov).
I thought they were fixed in this one, or will it not fix itself until tomorrow?

Re: Build 961
Some of the items you mention are new - i.e. they weren't in dayfile.txt previously so it can't retrieve them to include them. But I don't know why you have zeroes for e.g. low humidity.SUBYDAZZ wrote:I thought they were fixed in this one

Re: Build 961
It imports OK for me: I can't think why it won't work for you, but show no errors. I don't think it can be a date format issue.Ned wrote:Dayfile.txt attached, thanks
