For some strange reason tonight, I no longer see anything on the desktop display other then previous records, yesterday, etc. Of course the webpages reflect this. I will attach the diags file to this and maybe you can make head or tails out if it. It is reading the Fine Offset apparently, but it is not showing up on the desktop. Just a bunch of 0 s. Well I tried to upload the file but it seems no matter what extension, or none at all, it is not allowed.
Here is a cut and paste of the file

Welcome to the Cumulus Support forum.
Latest Cumulus MX V4 release 4.0.1 (build 4023) - 16 May 2024
(Note that 4.1.0 (build 4024) - 05 June 2024 remains available, but usage of this version is not recommended - particularly for Davis stations - and the included utility in this distribution for migrating to v4 is known to contain errors affecting conversion of dayfile.txt)
Latest Cumulus MX V3 release 3.28.6 (build 3283) - 21 March 2024
Legacy Cumulus 1 release 1.9.4 (build 1099) - 28 November 2014
(a patch is available for 1.9.4 build 1099 that extends the date range of drop-down menus to 2030)

Re: Display problems 1.84 ver 589
The pressure calibration in your station has gone awry, it is giving a relative pressure of 2013.8 mb. Have you tried restarting? It may have just been a glitch reading the data. If it really is set to that value, you need to fix it.franciscus wrote: 2008-12-07 22:00:48 : EWUSB: EW startup data line 05 AA 4E 79 27 00 00 00 00

Cumulus is discarding all of the data readings because of the faulty pressure reading. On reflection, this may not be the best approach for this particular problem, maybe it should just ignore the pressure reading, or assume an offset of zero, or something.
I don't know why you couldn't attach a file, other people seem to have been doing it - I thought I had sorted that out, it must have unfixed itself.

Re: Display problems 1.84 ver 589
The unit itself is not showing that pressure reading though. At present it is showing 1019.1 Could it possibly be in the memory? Maybe I should clear that?

Re: Display problems 1.84 ver 589
That seems a bit strange, as I would assume it was using the same memory location - did restarting Cumulus not help? But the data is clearly there - AA 4E 79 27 - relative pressure = 4EAA = 20138 (then divide by 10) abs pressure = 2779 = 10105. I don't know enough about these stations to know how drastic an action clearing the memory would be. Can you look at the pressure calibration setting and see what it's set to - or maybe try to re-set it?
I've put a change in the version I've just uploaded to check for a dubious relative pressure at startup and to ignore it (and hence use a zero offset, and not ignore all the other data readings).

You can use EasyWeather to see and change the relative pressure in the unit.
Stop Cumulus, start EasyWeather and go to Station-->Setup.
At the bottom you will see the absolute and relative pressure values in the station.
If the relative pressure is incorrect, you can change the value and press OK.
This will reset the value in the station (at the next full minute).

I wish I had seen that before clearing the memory, which did not help, and then having to remove the batteries and restart the system, which did the trick. It also will NOT read the easyweather data when I set it to do that. Weird.
