Getting My Website to Work

I have been using Cumulus locally for about a year. Once I got the settiongs correct, the program has worked great. I am now trying to get the weather up to my website. I am a novice with website programming. My website host is bluehost.com. My website is
http://www.royalmountainresources.com, and the site is set up with wordpress. I have read the support information and got an ftp site set up under my root directory. I set up a file called mooseweather, and everything is copied to that file. I have a screenshot below. It doesn't show the yesterday files on the screen shot, but they are there. I set up the Cumulus program on my computer to upload information to the mooseweather folder, but the connection keeps timing out. Obviously, I have something set up wrong. That's problem number 1. Problem number 2 is I do not know where to set my url address to see the weather information, once I get it uploaded.
Thanks for your help.

hi Mike
can you upload a screen shot of the Cumulus Internet settings.
here's a little posting from the wiki on a better way to upload screen shots...

It looks like you have uploaded the files to /public_ftp/mooseweather and they should be in /public_html/mooseweather. It's a web site you need to set up, not an ftp site.

Yes, I agree Steve. hopefully once we see the screen shot we can confirm all the detail but it could be that simple

I would think that "directory" should be....
/public_html/mooseweather
You will also need to recreate the 'core files' needed by Cumulus in /public_html/mooseweather -- as Steve noted above, you have created these under /public_ftp
A reminder of the core files --

Revised the Cumulus settings. Uploaded the files. Screenshots below. Still getting the FTP Connect Timeout.

you certainly have a website now...
http://www.royalmountainresources.com/mooseweather
I assume Cumulus is giving the FTP Timeout message?
Turn on FTP logging in Cumulus. (Click on the Configuration menu within Cumulus and tick the 'FTP Log' menu option)
Force a web update (in the File menu),
then upload the ftplog.txt file for us to have a look

is that from the Cumulus folder? (not that I think there are other copies) and you definitely turned on FTP logging?
It's very brief; I would expect much more in the file.

Yes and yes. Here is the realtimeftp file. It has more in it.

The FTP log files should have more detail about the files is is trying to upload.
I guess we should look at the debug log
Click on the Configuration menu within Cumulus and tick the 'Debug Log' menu option.
Force a web update
Turn off the Debug Log again
Let's see the debug.log file
I see you are a few versions behind in Cumulus (you are on V1.8.8, Dec 2009) -- I don't believe this is the problem but just worth noting that you should upgrade at some point

First off, thanks for all your help. I am a couple of versions behind, but I did not want to confuse things until I get the site working. Here is the debug log.

No problem
Here is the debug log.
you are getting an error
FTP Connect failure - attempt number 2 Error code = 10060
Its a general timeout error so it is not much use!
Lets try something -- in the Internet Settings of Cumulus there is a setting to turn on Active FTP mode. Tick the box and try and update

Did that. Ran both logs. Still got a conect timeout. The ftplog says the same thing. Here is the debug log.
