Re: Getting My Website to Work
Given that you have a Cumulus site now...http://www.royalmountainresources.com/m ... /index.htm
Can I assume that Cumulus uploaded at least once? Or did you manually upload the *.htm files (example, index.htm)

I did read, in another post, that some of the .htm files need to be pointed differently than the T.htm files. Could that be it??

Re: Getting My Website to Work
Ok, so Cumulus has never uploaded. You uploaded them via a web interface (based on one of your screen shots).
I am assuming there is therefore something missing in the config of your web space. let me try and see what I can find out online about your provider (bluehost)

Ok, I've had a quick read of the Bluehost website....
When you created your FTP account it asked you to assign a directory that this account will have access to. This should be public_html or maybe public_html/mooseweather
is the FTP account perhaps still sitting at public_ftp ?

Re: Getting My Website to Work
A further thought...if you are still having an problem maybe you would consider sending me your FTP username & password and then I can have a look to see exactly where we 'land' on your webserver folder structure and if I can move around to the Cumulus folder (mooseweather).
Maybe change the password to something, send me a private message, then when I am done you can change the password.
Just a thought -- I've done it for others many times on the forum, and I am sure people will vouch for my trust-worthiness if needed.
No problems if you are not happy doing it.

Mike
I have used your FTP settings, and was able to login successfully. I then setup a test Cumulus installation and applied your settings and was able to get Cumulus to upload a webpage, so we know there is no issue with Cumulus and your webserver

This is some of my data on your site.
I have sent you a PM detailing the settings I used.

Installed the latest version of Cumulus. Still get the connect timeout, but the ftp log (attached) has something more to analyze.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Re: Getting My Website to Work
The problem is at connect time, so isn't showing in the logs. I suggest you turn off both realtime ftp and 'normal' ftp, and then restart Cumulus. Turn on ftp logging, and then re-enable just 'normal' ftp, and the log should then show something. But if you can't connect with the same settings that David has used successfully, that suggests some sort of problem on your system - a firewall preventing Cumulus connecting is the most likely cause.
