Cumulus says no rain. Wunderground says 50%. Radar says here it comes, just a few miles away.

Called my neighbor to say no morning walk because rain is moving in, not much but a nice shower, first in a month. Cumulus was right. The rain showers dissipated just a few miles from the house. Watch the aforementioned animated radar loop.
Earlier in the week wunderground says 70% chance of rain, Cumulus says no rain. Cumulus was right again.
Having local data gives Cumulus the edge on forecasting when the weather is not a large, sweeping front seems like.
