Why can't I get "Trend's" to update

Hello Everyone

I have been playing with Cumulus for a few days, and have managed to get it doing most things, but for some reason I cannot get it to update the data on the "Trend"'s page.

Cumulus is running on the same machine that runs the web server (Abyss), and all the files are updating every minute or so, including "Trends.htm", but when viewed, the data remains static (it runs up to 21:30 ish yesterday evening).

Everything else is (I think) working fine including the silverlight realtime data display. The machine is an old P4, 2.0 Ghz runnign XP Pro SP3, with Cumulus 1.9.0 build 958.

In the Internet settings, sites / options tab, Auto update is checked with an interval of 1 minute, realtime is checked with a period of 10s. No FTP details are entered (it is on the same machine). On the files tab, the local path is set for the six htm files plus realtime and wxnow.txt, copying to the correct locations for the web files and "include standard images" and "realtime" are checked. For each of the files, realtime is checked, FTP unchecked. For Trends only (as an experiment) I have also checked "process" and "binary"

The web address is http://g7dwy.servebeer.com/weather

Any advice gladly received.

Thank you

Ian

If you're copying rather than FTPing, have you specified the folder for the images in the "Copy images to folder" box?

FWIW, I'd been having similar problems on the 1.9.1 beta versions using a bog standard setup - some graphs on my trends page lagged by an hour or two, randomly. It all came right on installing the latest 956 build.... :)

....and (of course) Steve had the answer, and I earned a big fat "DOH"!

It never occured to me that the Trends files would be created as graphic images. I imagined they would be created on demand from a data file!

So it now appears to be working fine

Thanks for the replies Steve and Ned
