Ahhh, ummm... sorry didn't note the start time... it could of been flashing before I dragged myself out of my bed this morning :)

As far as I recall, I've not messed with any thresholds in this section... it was really plug and play, with only the adjustment made for height above sea level changed.

I've just booted up easyweather and checked the alarm defaults - here they are - if you guys can see anything out of this you're better than I :)

The Alarms section is a completely separate facility.
Referring to the manual – the logger display has default values already set unless you change them (the defaults are 2 and 4 respectively).
I believe (though could be wrong) the weather forecast display will flash with both arrows if the pressure changes + or – by 2-4hPa (see point 2 of manual). The down arrow will flash if the pressure drops 3-9hPa (see point 3).
Clear as mud I’d say….

Hi all

A former Oregon Scientific Weather Station I had 'flashed' the weather forecast display to indicate a 'sudden' change in appraoching weather - e.g. very severe rain rather than just rain.

My Watson was also flashing this week corresponding with a sharp fall in pressure - and sure enough heavy rain soon followed!

I've taken it that the flashing just indicates severity - that said, unable to proove weather this happens for anything other than the rain display, as unlikely to experience 'severe' sun here in Scotland

I think that sometimes just the arrow flashes - my 'up' arrow is flashing now - and sometimes the whole tendency box including the forecast icon flashes.

Snap Steve - up arrow flashing here as well. Must be good news after the last few days wind and rain!

You've got me curious now - can't recall having noticed the tendency arrows ever being steady - as am working from home the next couple of days I'll keep a closer eye than usual

Have a suspicion that speed of pressure change (which might be why the pressure threshold is configurable - i.e. ability to customise the 'warning' dependent on how quickly pressure typically changes in your region) triggers whether the entire icon flashes

Ps - and unrelated (sorry) - tried to submit your user location form, but as I don't have my own website I couldn't complete all the fields. Any overrides?

I think you're right; I think they are either flashing or not present.

I'm not sure that there's any way around it; Kevin (who developed it for me and who basically runs it for me) may know. A number of people upload data to Weather Underground (or similar) sites and use their page there for the link.
