Rain rate spike

Post by wd40 »

This is my first rain rate spike. I know how to do the datelog but did not see a FAQ for this.
Head me in the right direction if you would.

It showed up on the all time records so if that is all I need to do, I can do that of course.

Today's highs and lows are in today.ini; you need to stop Cumulus before editing it.

Are you using build 955, by the way? If so, could you please upload your october log file and the diags file that was in operation at the time this happened? I'd like to see why the new rain spike code didn't catch it.

Yes 955. I have shut down Cumulus but it will be a little later this evening before I can send the files. Glad to do it.

No problem; I'm going to bed now anyway - I'll have a look at them tomorrow.

Thanks, that was very useful:

It seems your counter actually went down, and the code for coping with that, and the new code for coping with a sudden jump are interfering - I'll see if I can fix that. The new code seems not to be able to count to 6, either; I'll look at that too.
