Google Chrome Showing wrong Webcam
Hi Guys
I'm having a weird problem with Google Chrome since last night. When i look at my website http://www.waterfordcityweather.com using their browser its not showing my webcam on my site. All the other browsers are showing the proper cam of Waterford City but Chrome is showing someplace in California. I'm using a Wunderground sticker to pin it to my site. There is no contact email for Google to inform them of my problem. Has anyone else had this problem???
Cheers
Mike
Edit: Just checked it using Google Chrome on my laptop and its showing the proper image so i guess its a problem with Chrome on my desktop pc. Will clear the cache and see if that fixes the problem.

Mike
It is fine for me -- I have just tried it on Chrome, Firefox, IE 8, all on a PC. Safari, Firefox and Chrome on a Mac and they all look the same
I see this... When you are in Chrome, click the Reload Page button in the toolbar to refresh -- Chrome may be caching something

Re: Google Chrome Showing wrong Webcam
I've had it confirmed by another user that Chrome 8 is showing the wrong image on his computer so its not just at my end. Looks like it depends which version of chrome is running.

Re: Google Chrome Showing wrong Webcam
Now that is very interesting -- I have just tried again and I am now seeing somewhere which is clearly no Waterford! (I'm on 7, and was on 7 when I tried earlier)

Re: Google Chrome Showing wrong Webcam
Looking the page source, it's supposed to be fetching:
http://www.wunderground.com/swf/pws_min ... ic&lang=EN
If you paste that into Chrome's address bar, it works. If you just use http://www.wunderground.com/swf/pws_min ... 4&freq=5.0
you get that default image (the WU admin's?), so it looks as though part of the original URL is getting lost somehow.

Re: Google Chrome Showing wrong Webcam
On a side note, and not actually causing this problem, you have an unclosed HTML tag....
I think you need </div> at the end of this code snip, so...
You can see how you open a <div> and close it </div>, then open another but not close it anywhere further on<!-Weather in Waterford, Ireland on your site - HTML code - weatherforecastmap.com -->
<div align="center"><script src="http://www.weatherforecastmap.com/weath ... /script><a title="Weather Today in Waterford" href="http://www.weatherforecastmap.com/ireland/waterford" ></a>
</div><!-end of code-->
<div align=center><object width="780" height="800"><param name="movie" value="http://www.wunderground.com/swf/pws_min ... ic&lang=EN" /><embed src="http://www.wunderground.com/swf/pws_min ... ic&lang=EN" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="780" height="800" /></object>
I think you need </div> at the end of this code snip, so...
....station=IWATERFO4&freq=5.0&camurl=http://icons.wunderground.com/webcamram ... ic&lang=EN" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="780" height="800" /></object></div>

Re: Google Chrome Showing wrong Webcam
If you remove the <param> tag it seems to work
So delete all this
So delete all this
Code: Select all
<param name="movie" value="http://www.wunderground.com/swf/pws_mini_rf.swf?station=IWATERFO4&freq=5.0&units=metric&lang=EN" />-
