Odd Characters
v1.9.1 b954 - There are two squares showing after the time display from the main screen. Not a problem but does look odd.

Re: Odd Characters
Do you mean the clock in the top-right hand corner (a screenshot paints a thousand words, as they say)? It does seem to have gone a bit stupid in this version of the component - I'm going to replace it. Do you use 24-hour or 12-hour setting?

Re: Odd Characters
It's the weird (i.e. buggy) way this version of the clock component handles (or not) 12-hour format. Something to do with Unicode.

Re: Odd Characters
I'm back now..... I should have also pointed out that my system is set for 24 hr but the Cumulus is displaying 12 Hr.

Re: Odd Characters
It doesn't use your system setting. It defaults to 24-hour, and toggles between that and 12-hour when you click it. You must have accidentally clicked on it at some point.nking wrote:I'm back now..... I should have also pointed out that my system is set for 24 hr but the Cumulus is displaying 12 Hr.

Re: Odd Characters
Well I didn't know that
No strange characters with 24hr setting but I guess you already know that

Re: Odd Characters
It's probably only documented somewhere way back in the forum, and in the 'changes' file, so that's not surprising. While the Cumulus documentation is pretty good, I think, what with the help file, the wiki, and the 'getting started' guide, it does lack a 'user manual'. But so does a lot of expensive commercial software...nking wrote:Well I didn't know that
I'm lining up an 'LED' style clock for the next build, but I'm not sure I like it. I don't really know why Cumulus has a clock anyway

Re: Odd Characters
Very true..... the status bar at the bottom of Cumulus is more than enough in case someone wonders if things are workingsteve wrote: I don't really know why Cumulus has a clock anyway
