It's crashing setting the length of the array which holds the data for the wind rose. I'll see if I can reproduce that, but I'm sure I've already tried with both values. Have you got the number of points set to 8 or 16?

I have it set to 8. Also I really meant to add how much better this beta version is, the graphs in particular are a big improvement - it feels like Christmas has come early with all these new features

I've tried everything I can think of and can't get it to crash...

No this is the first occurrence. As I mentioned it happened while I was playing with the gradient element from display settings. I altered the greys (can't say I noticed the difference) and clicked OK and it crashed.
