Memory

Post by rfg »

Does anyone know please what happens when the WH1080 memory is full - does the data still transfer to the PC and Cumulus program if connected or does it stop. I realise that if the Cumulus program is closed for some tyime that it will not have recent data if the memory on teh WH1080 is full. Also , I have reset teh rain data for the current day but is there any way to reset the overall annual rain data - Being up a ladder waving the mast around before attachment to the chimney causes lots of apparent rainfall!

When the memory is full, the station just starts again at the beginning overwriting the oldest data. There is no need to clear the memory, just make sure you run Cumulus often enough so that nothing gets overwritten before it's been downloaded (about 2 weeks on the 5-minute setting).

There's a FAQ about correcting rainfall figures in Cumulus - http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#My_sta ... it_to_zero
