Cumulus Support

Hi
I installed your program and everything worked. And then the wind speed stopped.
I have attached a part of the log. Have you any ideas on fixing this.(The wind speed etc is still
showing on the instrament and on heavy weather).

Have at look at the latest file in the Diags folder and see if there is anything about "max retries reached" in there. You could attach the file here, also.

No, nothing in there to indicate a problem at all. It thinks it's reading the data successfully, and the data says zero.

When you say Heavyweather is still showing the correct value, I assume you stopped Cumulus before running it?

Correct or else there is a port conflict.

And stopping and restarting Cumulus didn't help?

I've no idea, I'm afraid. I think I'll have to put in some tracing of the data returned.

Not at the moment. I am putting some extra tracing into the next build, which I will be uploading soon. If you run that and turn on the debug log, it will give me more information which may help.

Please install build 583:

Turn on debug log, run for about 10 minutes, stop Cumulus and send me the debug.log file.
