The connection to your ftp server is timing out (no response for 15 seconds):

08:25:05:531 010A0E50 TriggerDataSent 904
08:25:20:515 ! Aborting

I don't know why WU and PWS aren't updating, they don't use FTP so aren't in those logs. You would need to turn on the debug logging to see the errors from those. Have you tried restarting Cumulus? If there was a problem with your internet connection, it's possible those uploads got into a funny state.

cheers mate, just looked at the debug log and its 189mb lol, wierd, anyway, deleted it, turned debug log on, will wait a little while for it to create some records and then upload it, have tried restarting cumulus a few times, and indeed the whole computer, as far as i know the internet has been fine, but of course during the night who knows lol.

Anyway, will let it create some records and upload it

Hi Steve

it "seems" to have sorted itself out, i do think i need to sort out some new hosting though, although the charity website seems to be working, it doesnt like this regular feed thing by the looks of it

If anyone can recommend a webhosting company thats cheap and cheerful BUT reliable, all suggestions would be greatly received!

again apologies for being a nuisance, if I had hair, I would be tearing it out at the moment, thanks for your patience and guidance, btw, have attached the debug log anyway, let me know what you think

I use QiQ for hosting my web sites. Very reliable and plenty of space. Based in Australia and the UK the standard hosting is just under £20 (20 UK pounds) a year. They will also handle provision of your domain name for you. I have found their service excellent and recommend them.

Sorry, no banner - weather station out of action. Hoping to be up and running with a new home-made one soon.

The debug log can get very big very quickly, you should make sure to only turn it on when necessary, and delete it before turning it on each time.

David (daj) does some good inexpensive hosting suitable for Cumulus - http://www.glohosting.co.uk/

The WU 'Flash' thing works from your WU uploads, and they seem to be working OK, so I don't know why it isn't working. You could try asking WU, but they seem to have a tendency to shift the blame elsewhere. We're all guilty of that sometimes, but when the evidence is clear...!

Edit: One thing I do notice about your WU uploads is that you are sending UV, but your station doesn't have a UV sensor. It shouldn't matter, Cumulus should just send zero, but I thought I'd point it out.

We test the storms for you before sending them across the Tasman. Sometimes we even save them up, package them all as one and the send them over! We just have to find a way to also include our red haired PM to include in one of the storms to give you as a present and a replacement for Helen Clark
