Display size

Post by wd40 »

I finally got a replacement WS2080 and everything is up and running. My only problem is the opening Cumulus display size is about 1/2"( a couple of CM) short on the right side so part of the gauge display is missing. I run my screen resolution at 1024X768 using W7. I tried a couple of other resolutions but seem to make it worse.

I have read everything I think and did a search but I sure could have missed something. I did find a few old post a cumulus tool box.

I must be over looking the obvious.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Is the 1024x768 the max res for your screen. If not, you always get a better, cleaner display if you use the max res of the monitor. Not intended to fix your query....just an aside :-)

The PC I run Cumulus on has a 1024x768 monitor, and the main screen just fits nicely; I actually designed it that way. I suspect you are using a non-standard DPI setting, or something like that, which is making the display bigger than it would normally be.

I did not know but my W7 was set at 125%.

You nailed that one Steve.

Super-T, that text just gets too small.

Thanks

I did a little testing this morning. You can custom set the DPI to 110% and still see all the gauges.
