Understanding Trends Graphs

Do I understand the Trends Graphs correctly as:
They always start at 0900, and end at 0700 (a 22 hours span)
They wrap around for 24 hours, (ie 22 hours)
To see the current data (temp, wind, etc), I look at the current time on the scale across the bottom? (but the data doesn't always match the current data elsewhere)
Would this explain the often (but not always) a large jump in values (up or down) at the current time when I view the Trends Graphs?
I thought I had read somewhere about the wrap around for 24 hours, but now cannot find it.

They should always show the last 12/24/48 hours, depending on what you have configured in the display settings. The current data is hence always at the right hand end of the graph.
At start up, the graphs are drawn from the data in the logs, so the usual reason for them not behaving as above is a problem with your data.

Thanks Steve, I guess I just figured it out! (and I should have said the problems were with the graphs as viewed on my website!)
I needed to upload all the .png files of the dials, graphs, etc.
I am unable to upload automatically with AceFTP, so have to do it manually. I had been uploading the .htm files, but hadn't realized I needed to upload the .png files as well.
Live & Learn.
Now I have to figure out how to set up automatic ftp.

I don't understand. For the 'standard' Cumulus web site, you need to upload a few files manually once - and once only, and then Cumulus will automatically upload all of the web pages (.htm files) and image files (.png etc) after that. The only thing you need an external ftp client for is the one-off initial set up.

Well Steve, I am using a program called AceFTP. It is a free trial program, for which you can purchase the full version. Because it is a trial version, there is always a window that pops up on opening that asks if you want to continue with the trial, or purchase. It requires a mouse click to get past it.
Therefore, I haven't figured out how to set up Cumulus to use AceFTP to get past that window.
I am going to look for another simple, free FTP program and try setting that up.
So, I am sure Cumulus would automatically upload the PNG files - if I could use it automatically.
However, still enjoying the program, thank you.

I still don't understand. Why can't you use Cumulus automatically? You only need to use AceFTP (or whatever) to manually upload the required files once. Why do you say you can't figure out how to get Cumulus to use AceFTP? Cumulus doesn't - can't - use an external ftp client. It has its own ftp built in. I must be missing something. Are you just trying to use the standard Cumulus web site setup?

I recommend the free FileZilla FTP utility. Very easy to use and comes in versions for Windows, Mac, and Linux. I've used it for years in Windows then Linux.

Gina, I think you've missed Steve's point to sanramonrover, he doesn't need to use an external FTP prgram to keep his website updated. It is all built into Cumulus.

No guys, it is I who does not understand, yet.
I was not aware that Cumulus had its own ftp built in. I thought I had to connect via my usual ftp program (AceFTP).
So, now knowing that, I am trying to setting up the Cumulus internet page.
[EDIT] I did get it to work, and it works just like it should [/EDIT]
