Hi,
I have downloaded Cumulus Realtime v1.0.0.5
It works with my own stationnaam buth with the data from Steve.
I don’t know what the right URL name is. The documentation says in the map there where realtime.txt is. That file is on my computer and not on the web.
How do I get that file on the web ?
Regards,
Bert

Ah yes, the instructions do assume that you have already been using the realtime.txt file - for the gauges on the standard pages, for example.
In internet settings, tick 'enable realtime', and enter a suitable interval. The realtime.txt file will then get uploaded to the directory you've supplied in the 'web site' settings.

What doesn't work? Your realtime.txt file isn't being uploaded? You may have the wrong path in the 'directory' box. You can get it slightly wrong but it still works for 'normal' uploads but not 'realtime'.
Turn on ftp logging, and then attach the ftplog.txt file here, please.

Sorry, I should have asked for the realtimeftplog.txt file! But I think the answer is in this file anyway:
11:13:53:000 >|550 Can't change directory to /meteonoord/cum: No such file or directory|
So you have an incorrect directory configured. You are somehow getting away with it for normal ftp, but the realtime ftp will be failing because it uses the path as part of the filename. You need to work out what path your server actually needs. If it's all working OK even though the 'change directory' is failing, then you perhaps don't need anything at all in the directory box.
It's normally safer to supply a relative path for the directory (i.e. one without a leading slash).

I send you a e-mail with files in rar format.

Yes, I've got them, but I'm afraid I can't tell anything from screen shots of your settings, because I know nothing about how your web space is organised. Have you tried leaving the directory box empty?

To get the realtime.txt upload to work, you probably have to specify "cum" as the directory (i.e. without the leading slash), as that is probably not at the root level on the ftp server, which is what the leading slash implies.
