Cumulus Support

I managed to get a weather webpage up and running (a first for me) and have to say I'm chuffed!
But no luck with the realtime wind gauges. I've checked the server and the realtime.txt file is being written to it every minute, as I set it in Cumulus.
Is there something else I need to do or is it most likely a server problem?
I'm using free web hosting from Jabry.com by the way. I'll probably try another one as they don't allow linking to other sites.

You say you have a realtime.txt uploading, but http://users3.jabry.com/endevah/realtime.txt gives a 404. If the file really is there, then it does look like the server is refusing to serve text files. I think someone else was trying to use Jabry a while ago for hosting but had some sort of problem.

Yes, the file looks fine, but see my later post and the thread I linked to. You'll need to find different hosting if you want it to work.

There's a list of providers known to work with Cumulus here: http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Webspace

But so far, no-one has added any free hosting that is known to work. Free hosting does tend to have lots of restrictions which mean that basic html pages only work.

Finally got free homepages to work with my ISP, having initially been told by tech support I'd need a registered domain name to use it (where do they find those people?!)
All working great, including realtime. Most impressed

Not for me it isn't - unless the URL has changed from above?
