You can see why artists love this little corner of Wales!

I've just realised (looking you up on the user map) that when - in a previous life - I holidayed in Pembrokeshire in 1999 (during the eclipse), I stayed only a couple of miles from where you are. A very nice part of the world.

I remember the eclipse - lots of cloud and tantelising glimpses! We had a builder in doing a job on the bathroom. I hauled him out to watch in through a piece of smoked glass. He was stunned and amazed - had no idea it was going to happen!

About the same here re. the eclipse - cloudy day with short breaks in the cloud and we just got a glimpse too.

Great pics Geoff - very dramatic!

When I was very young, in the 50s, our family used to holiday in south Pembrokeshire, caravanning in a farmers field near Saundersfoot (nr Tenby) and we used to drive to other parts of the county as well as going on the beach at Saundersfoot. Beautiful county :) :)

Sorry, no banner - weather station out of action. Hoping to be up and running with a new home-made one soon.
