AVG the free version (I am from Scottish stock ...sorry!!!)
Ive just uninstalled AVG, closed Cumulus and Toolbox then rebooted system
Restarted Cumulus and the Toolbox
The error is still there
I'll wait to reinstall AVG

I have tried everything I can to emulate your problem without much success. I also did some reading up on your ISP and noted proxy issues with them in general. I did read somewhere that there were moving away from Proxies.
I'm still digging around. I have written a little piece of code (basically the same as the part that is failing for you) and passed that to quite a few people to ask them to run it on their PC and check the results -- see if I can get the same proxy error.
