flat line after usb cable disconnected WH1051(N96GY)

This afternoon I accidently (at about 16:30) disconnected the USB cable while Cumulus was running and connected the socket to a USB disk. (XP is running as a VMWARE client on a linux box)

When I reconnected at 22.00 I found that todays graphs are flat lined between these times. New values are now being recorded.

Is there any way I can recover the missing data from the station for those missing hours ?
I have tried restarting but I only get the latest data.

There's no mechanism in Cumulus for detecting that the cable has been unplugged for a while and doing something about it. I tried quite hard to put something in to cater for it, but the Fine Offset stations didn't want to play.

You can recover data from the logger by resetting theTimestamp line in today.ini, but you also need to reset the data files correspondingly. The easiest way to do this is to use a set of the backup files which Cumulus creates every time it starts up. Copy the latest set of files from before the problem into the data folder - while Cumulus is stopped. If you don't have a suitably recent set of backup files you will have to edit the data files manually - strip them back to the time you set for the timestamp in today.ini.

Thanks Steve.
That worked fine.
I'd edited the data but didn't realise about the timestamp.
cheers
