Multiple Transmissions and the WH1081 Receiver

Wondering what happens if there are other sensor transmitters within range of the base station receiver

The handbook says that during initial power up of the receiver that "the" transmitter is registered - suggesting to me that there could be an identification process which 'locks' the two equipments and thereby eliminates access to other transmitters within range of the base receiver - or maybe just be a synchronising process which could then be subject to interruption from a stronger signal

Is there have any detail of this registration process available - or has anyone experience with multiple sensor transmitters in the area that could answer the question

One of my neighbours has what appears to be a similar station and at one time I was getting a lot of data loss. I replaced the pattery pack in my transmitter with a mains 3V transformer and since then I rarely get the same problem. His station is a bit further from my base than mine so I think my improved signal strength has helped and maybe his batteries are running down. I also positioned my base so that his signal has to pass through 3 feet of granite wall.
There doesn't appear to be any ident in the data stream so my guess is that the base only searches for a transmitter. Even if the 'locking' is to a particular transmitter it could possibly be the wrong one. It might be worth doing the locking procedure with the base and transmitter as close to each other as possible just in case.
