Hi
Is it possible to have Cumulus get its date from the weather station rather than the PC? I have a problem with my PC and the date is constantly changing. The PC time is OK.
At the moment Cumulus won't display any of my data because the PC thinks that its 6 months before I bought the station.
Cheers
Rob

Not currently - normally the PC date/time is more reliable than the weather station. Unfortunately it would be a big change to use the date from the weather station, as Cumulus would have to maintain its own clock and use that. There are lots of places in the code where it gets the current time from the PC.
It would be a simpler change to get Cumulus to read the station clock at start up (it already reads the section of memory containing the station clock when it reads the pressure offset) and set the PC clock from that, but I assume that wouldn't help in your case anyway, with your PC clock constantly changing.

Oh well.
I'll have to install it on another computer.

Or, you could find a PC time syc software utility that constantly corrects the time and date of your PC
I once used some software called K9. Since Windows now corrects the time clock on my PCs, I haven't bothered with K9.
