Forecast

Post by Samuel »

Yesterday it was about 7 degrees below zero (-7) and the forcast shows " Stormy, much rain" does the forecast not take notice of the temperatur ? :?:
And a small bug, on the daily rainfall graph, I can change colour but the coulour does not change, it is not a problem, the colour is not needed to be changed, only for notice.

You do a great job Steve, cant understand how you have time for all work with Cumulus.

Now it is snowing here, maybe we have real winter this year, last winter it was only a little snow a few times and a the ground was not frozen.

No, I'm afraid not, it's quite basic. I suppose that could be an enhancement, maybe beteljuice will look into it... :)

Thanks - I'm sure I spotted this bug before and fixed it, but it's come back.

Well, basically I spend nearly all my working hours either doing my proper job or Cumulus. I no longer have a life.

Steve
I think you have to spend some time with your family and do some other things and dont spend all your time with Cumulus, its easy to only fix a bug and then some imrovement and then its some more problem and then its morning again and no sleep no other things.
We users can live with a few bugs and you dont have to answer all questions immediately.

It is fun with more and more users but you get more and more questions and wishes, and it take all your time, you have to do som restrictions otherwise you dont have energy to continue and give up the idea and that will be pity.

Good call! I think we all feel that. It's Steve's choice and I know he appreciates our comments but the replies seem amazingly fast. If you want a break Steve, just say so, after all Cumulus is pretty robust now and I'm sure we can cope!

I just want to get this version reasonably bug free and then I'm going to take it easy for a while :-)

I did wonder about that, Harry, but I couldn't get that to work for the daily rain graph. Anyway, it appears it's a bug in the bar chart charting component, for which there is a work around, so I seem to have fixed it now.

Hello Steve,
Is it possible to translate the forecast?
If it is possible how is necessary it to make?

Thank Johann

It's the same as all the other English text in Cumulus, it's hard-coded. It's just too much work to make Cumulus multi-lingual at this stage.
