Data Corruption

Post by WetAndWindy »

Hi All,

During tonights download of a few days of data I somehow ended up with two Cumulus sessions running. On completion of the download an error message popped but disappeared before i read it, probably a delayed reaction to my attempts to close one of the sessions.

Nett result is a some very odd all time highs for todays rainfall. Any idea how if I can recover the situation please.

The data is till on the device if it helps.

Regards.
Roger.

The easiest way would be to restart from a backup. Look in the backups folder in the Cumulus installation, and find the latest one from before the problem occurred (the first of your two start ups from this evening, most likely). With Cumulus stopped, copy the files from that backup folder into the Cumulus data folder, and then start Cumulus again. Hopefully, you will end up with valid data.
