Max Temp Reading
I've looked around and can't find info on this...perhaps I didn't search properly, but my WH 1081 PC is showing a max temp today, and on several other days, of 100.0° It seems odd that the temp was exactly 100.0° on three separate occasions and never a tenth of a degree over. Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing?

Re: Max Temp Reading
Presumably just a data corruption of some sort - see the many other posts on here with similar problems with these stations. But apparently not everyone has them...
Is that Fahrenheit or Celsius, though? If Fahrenheit, is 100 degrees actually a reasonable figure for you, so it's just odd that it's exactly 100 rather than being a 'spike'?

Re: Max Temp Reading
It is a Fahrenheit temp reading...and it is reasonable to assume the temps got that high, just hard to believe it didn't get even a tenth over, especially since it happened three times over the last several weeks and I've never seen a temp over 100.0°steve wrote:Presumably just a data corruption of some sort - see the many other posts on here with similar problems with these stations. Re: Max Temp Reading
It is a bit strange; but the station measures in Celsius and Cumulus converts, so it's a bit odd that the station should apparently not measure higher than 37.8. The spec says that they go up to 65C/149F, and I'm pretty sure people here have reported temps over 100F before. Perhaps someone reading this could confirm...

Re: Max Temp Reading
This is interesting...I downloaded the latest version of Cumulus (1.9.0 build 937) and it's working fine now...currently 102.2° here in beautiful southern California.

Re: Max Temp Reading
Interesting, yes, but almost certainly coincidental. Nothing has changed between 1.8.9 and 1.9.0 that could affect that.
