Excel can save a workbook as a single *.mht or *.mhtml file or a *.htm file with an associated data folder.

What is the difference? They all seemabout the same size.

MHT is a way of combining all of the web page's resources into a single file - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MHTML

It seems to be obsolescent.

I've been keeping local rainfall records since 1992 and since Excel came along these are in an Excel workbook.
The post above prompted me to do something about making use of it.
Here's the result: http://weather.gktnet.com/rainchart.php

...one day I might get around to actually doing something with the data...
