Nearby station that displays wrong data.

Post by captzero »

Whats the etiquette here? There is a station near me (500m) that appears to constantly display temps about 4 - 5C above what everyone (including the official BOM airport station(16km)) else around the area is reporting. I have tried contacting them via their WU contact details but no response. They dont appear to be member of this forum and I havent had a response from my nice email to them. I'd be keen to meet them to see their set up etc and see what I might learn. Should I just let it go? Your thoughts ???

Cheers
Dan

A man with a thermometer always knows the temperature. A man with two thermometers, not so sure.

Thanks Lyle,

I think you are spot on. It is a hobby after all. Just ask my "weather wife". I think she'd agree.
