Hi again Steve
Because of some erroneous readings from my La Crosse recently I have been attempting to clean up my rain records
The problem I have is my July log has the correct yearly total but after restarting Cumulus the log keeps reverting to an old reading
The Today ini file does exactly the same
I have switched Cumulus off
Opened the July log in Notepad made the changes to the "Total Rain" figures re-saved
Then opened the Today ini file made the change to the START figure then re-saved
Then re-started Cumulus, within 10 minutes the old readings start again
I have even re booted the computer but did not make any difference
Where am I going wrong Steve?

Ah - this is clearly related to the post I've just replied to. I can't explain why or how the today.ini file keeps reverting to the old value. What exactly are you doing when you edit it? And similarly for the July log?
