I've just moved to Cumulus from Weatherlink. The HTML tags I used on Weatherlink followed the format "<!--outsideTemp-->". However, when I try and use the Cumulus tags "<#temp>", my HTML editor won't recognize them as HTML, and converts them to "<#temp>" where "<" replaces the left bracket, and ">" replaces the right one. This occurs as soon as I enter the tag, and it doesn't matter what HTML editor I'm using (Composer, Dreamweaver, SeaMonkey). I'm pulling my hair out here. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Your editor is trying to be helpful, but is actually being a bit stupid. You should be able to enter the brackets in 'HTML view' and then configure your editor to not subsequently convert them (I'm pretty sure that Dreamweaver has this option). The Cumulus web pages were originally constructed using Dreamweaver, so it must be possible.
The format of delimiter for the tags wouldn't have been my choice - the Weatherlink 'comment' format seems better to me - but I am limited by the tag processor in Delphi.

After downloading yet another HTML editor (Ace HTML Freeware), it finally worked!
Thanks.
