How to clean all old weather records?

Hi all,

how i can clean-up all old data's, i already uninstalled cumulus software and deleted cumulus directory.
I also erased memory of the wh-1080. So i thought when I reinstall cumulus then it's starting without old data.

But it seems so that Cumulus digging up the data's from somewhere else?

I believe it is unnecessary to uninstall Cumulus. Make sure you shut down Cumulus, then hunt for the Data folder inside the Cumulus program folder, open it, and delete all the files. When Cumulus restarts, it will create new datafiles and begin again.

Did you clear the data from the weather station's memory?

Yes i cleaned memory of the water station. Easyweather showing that memory is clean.

Are you configuring Cumulus to have station type "Fine Offset/Watson/MyDel etc." and NOT "Easy Weather (using .dat file)"? If the answer is yes, and you've erased the station memory, then you must have somehow deleted the wrong copy of Cumulus, even though there should only be one on your machine. (I assume you also deleted the backup folder, which should have been in the Cumulus folder) Time to do a search, I think.

If you've definitely deleted all of the Cumulus files (including cumulus.ini), then when you reinstall it and start it up again, it will only start logging from that point and won't use the data from the logger (the more usual question I get is: why doesn't it use the old data?).

If you uninstall Cumulus, delete all of the Cumulus files, reinstall Cumulus and then start it up again, it should start from that point. If it doesn't, please zip up and attach the diags folder.

Hi,

i found that i have another cumulus.ini file in my user folder. I think this related to setup when I assembled cumulus to program files folder. So maybe that is the problem.

I have to try to erase it and cumulus folder again and reinstall Cumulus.
