Because I use Twitter I attempted to upgrade to Cumulus 1.9.0
During the download I rec'd an error
"C:\Program Files\Cumulus]Cumulus.exe
An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file
Delete File Failed;code 5
Access is denied"
I then canceled the download

The error message means what it says - the installer couldn't delete the cumulus.exe file because something was preventing it. With executables, this is usually because the program was running. If not, then something else on your system was preventing the installer working. Try rebooting before running the installer.
Another possibility is that the user you were using to install doesn't have sufficient privilege.
