No data wh1080

Hi All
still having issues. I am running cumulus 1.8.8 and it is not showing any data, all 0. If I close cumulus and open easy weather I get live data. open cumulus again still 0 data. Any ideas. Have attached Diag files.
I am using windows 7. I am hoping to get another machine to just run cumulus and see how that goes but I would love to get this working as it did when I first installed.
cheers
Adrian

Cumulus is ignoring all of your data as suspect because your relative pressure setting is wrong:

2010-06-11 08:09:30 : EWUSB: Read pressure values: rel=1280.4 abs=1573.1 offset =-292.7
2010-06-11 08:09:30 : EWUSB: Ignoring dubious relative pressure reading, using offset of zero

2010-06-11 08:11:55 : EWUSB: Ignoring bad data: pressure = 1578.5

But it looks like you have a problem with your sensor. It's not just your relative pressure that's the problem, your absolute pressure is impossibly high. Presumably Easyweather is showing the same impossible pressures?

Hi Steve,
this is an issues with my station, has been dodgey from day 1. I will try adjusting the reading and see what that does, although I have seen that error come up before and I was still getting data.

If the offset is clearly wrong, but somehow the station manages to produce a pressure which is within sensible bounds, then Cumulus will accept the reading and hence all the other data along with it. It was a sort of communal design decision amongst Fine Offset owners that one bad parameter would cause all of the other data to be ignored also. I guess it ought to be an option, for cases of a permanent problem like yours.

Thanks Steve that explains why it works on and off, an option would be good until I can get around to buying anew unit.

I've raised an enhancement request so it doesn't get forgotten - there was something else recently that I said I'd do, but I've already forgotten what that was. I guess people will eventually realise that I have a memory like a sieve, and if things don't get put in the enhancement requests, they won't get done

OK All good, I have adjusted the readings and restarted. All working nicely now. I am guessing though that if the pressure goes to high or low it will drop out again. Will watch and see.
thanks for the help
