my realtime data is set to 45second interval updates so will that only apply to the gauges or all of realtime features?
Cumulus Realtime gets its data from realtime.txt which you say you have uploading at 45 seconds. If you have Cumulus Realtime operating, it will get that data from realtime.txt, which is updated every 45 seconds in your case. If you have another look at my website and try Cumulus Realtime, you will see it appear in the bottom frame (yes I am always fiddling and have added menu buttons to replace the text links). You will notice it updates at 10 second intervals because that is the interval I have Cumulus updating realtime.txt, even though my website update interval is 10 minutes now, with the refresh of some pages at "600". If anyone hangs around my site for 10 minutes, they deserve a refresh.

Mmm, yes, it can take a bit of fiddling and like anything with HTML, Java or the like, it needs to be exactly right, all the syntax, spelling, etc or the dam thing will frustrate the hell out of you. But once you have it working, it is great and you feel really pleased. Notice I placed the realtime wind guages in my Weather Console - just a copy and paste.

Hey, only 2 weeks. Rome wasn't built in a day. You have it working and that is an achievement in itself. Using frames is not easy to get your head around to start with. Menu buttons is another thing again.

You might want to try this site. http://www.echoecho.com/html.htm It has great tutorials on and information about HTML. There are other sites out there as well. Just Google and you will find them.

Also try to get hold of a decent book on HTML. I use this one: HTML : a beginner's guide / by Wendy Willard, published in New York by McGraw-Hill, 2009 ISBN 9780071611435

Best of luck, Bob
Well then i guess im doing a good thing by going to cert 4 next year in web design. in 3 weeks i am starting the basics web design course an extension of the one im doing now Networking / multimedia. i will definatley probably buy this book. thanks and i will try again with this weather console.

the wind gauges wasn't hard for me either i figured after 2 hours of thinking oh what if i do a copy and paste haha and it worked.

will report on progress soon.

Antonio.
