Hi Steve!
Thank you for your advice. That solved the problem!

I have had very big problems for several days until yesterday when I first looked your forum and saw your remark about Windows 7 and other date/time settings than US/UK. After I changed this everything started to work correctly, espesially the rain data that had been almost crazy before.
I have one more question about how the web pages are updating. The web pages update every 10 minute, but do they reload automatically in browser or do I have to use the html-commands in order to also reload the web page?
<meta http-equiv="Pragma" content="no-cache" />
<meta http-equiv="Expires" content="Mon, 06 Jan 1990 00:00:01 GMT" />
<meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="100" />
So, thank you very much for a very nice program. I will definately consider making a donation to your work!
Best regards,
Tom

I haven't put automatic page refreshes in the templates because I don't like them, and their use is discouraged by the W3C. But of course your pages are yours, and you can do whatever you wish with them

Of course. I maybe remove the update code.

Tom

Tom, an option for auto-updating of Web pages without refreshing the complete/whole page would be to add AJAX of JavaScript coding to the pages so only modified values are updated...

Yes, that's a nice idea! Where can I find some tips on the syntax and does it put demands on the configuration of the server? Maybe ask Google works as always?!

There's a ready-made Ajax solution on the downloads page (link top-right) which you can either just use as it is, or study to get some ideas for how to do your own.

Thanks for your advice. Seems to be a bit tricky to get to work though, according to the comments on the page...

Hmm. Yes. I noticed that. I haven't actually tried it myself, I must admit.

Tom. I did not looked too 'deeply' at the information on the page suggested by Steve... May I recommend instead that you look at David's '
WeatherConsole' - the code is somewhat easier to adapt (and comprehend)...

Ok, thanks! I will have a look at that one. Good that it uses the realtime.txt file which I already have present on the website.
Best regards,
Tom
