Wow, fantastic looking storm. That'd be a fun one to have out here (though most of the populace in my city would disagree).

Great Pictures. The transmitter could do with being moved to under the eaves for protection
A bit warmer in this part of the world.

My partner is from Siberia so she is more familiar with your weather conditions than I am.
If you moved the transmitter under the eaves then at least you would measure air temperature rather than snow or ice temperature.
There again I don't understand such extremes

Must say here, that i have another station under the eaves (simple one old type) it show same temp as my WH 1080 measurer, like under the snow.
Thanx for your advice

Hey, great pictures aadal. Reminds me of my early childhood growing up in northern Germany. To get snow like that nowadays I have to visit a ski hill a few hours away!
Cheers,
Andreas

Coming from warmer climes, I find it strange that people look forward to snow?

What?
Doesn't *everyone* look forward to a little snow now and again?
I suppose the ones who don't like it can't drive in it (like my wife).
