Hi Steve, I have been using Cumulus for about 18 months with little problems then for some reason it started crashing. So I thought I would try a reinstall, but while I was at it I would install the latest version (1.8.9 b930) and I had no more crashing. But since that install the daily graph times are not being shown completely. As I only run Cumulus between 06:30 and 22:00 hrs GMT the graph times only seem to be active between these times, and no overnight data is shown. I have checked the log files and all the overnight data has been retrived from the Davis VP and is listed. The graphs updated on a daily basis seem to be OK.
Any Ideas,
Brian.

Re: Graph Time Values
A tip for any sort of problem to do with reading the data logs (which includes the way the graphs look at start up): Look near the start of the latest diags file. This is what I get when I start up with your log file:
Error reading C:\Users\steve\Documents\RAD Studio\Projects\Cumulus190\data\May10log.txt around line 24986: List index out of bounds (9)
You have a blank line that needs removing: You seem to have a chunk of data missing at that point?

Re: Graph Time Values
I've noticed that one of the notepad insists on inserting stray lines....not sure which one though

Re: Graph Time Values
Thanks Steve, I found the blank line and and a couple of days worth of duplicate data. After removing the dupes and the blank line all is working fine and graphs read the full 24 hours now. Do you know if there is any software that could check the log files for duplicate dates/times and blank lines. This would be useful as there is a lot of data in the logs and difficult to identify problems. Thanks again, and thanks for a great program.
Brian.

Re: Graph Time Values
No, but it's something that someone could easily write. Cumulus could ignore blank lines - but it always worries me that it might be indicative of some other problem, and there's a risk of getting stuck in a loop. I think it's safer if it gives up when it detects an inconsistency. What it probably should do is flash the error light and put in a message in the error log window.briwey wrote:Do you know if there is any software that could check the log files for duplicate dates/times and blank lines.
