Problems getting "customized" scipt to post to Twitter..Help

Post by lucky13wxman »

I set up Cumulus to post data to my Twitter acct, but I am having problems...I got everything set up and posting via our server...but it is the "default" Twitter script form Cumulus. I "Thought" I changed the script in the correct program file...but apparently not. Can anyone steer me towards the correct place I need to edit the script?

Here is a copy of the twitter.txt file I created:

<#tagname>At WATE-TV6:<#time> Temp: <#temp> Humidity: <#hum> Heat Index: <#heatindex> Wind: <#wdir><#wspeed> Rain Today: <#rfall>

All you should need to do is create a file called twitter.txt and put it in the same folder as the cumulus.exe executable. If you think you've done that, then you could attach your twitter.txt file here and I'll have a look at it.

There's some info in the wiki here - http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Twitter
