Does it also say "Exceptional weather"? What have you set for the pressure extremes, including the units? What units are you using for pressure in Cumulus?

no, after program start it says forecast:Not available for a while,
after maybe a minute Settled fine ...

I'm using
wind - km/h
pressure - hPa
temp - °C
rainfall - mm

cumulus forecast enabled,
pressure extremes:
low: 950,00
high: 1050,00

and selected is mb

Cumulus uses the same algorithm as this: http://www.dickie.webfusion.co.uk/zambr ... ecast.html

You can enter your conditions there and compare it with what Cumulus says. Are you uploading to a web site? If so, a link would be useful so I can see your data.

mb = millibars
in = inches of mercury

hPa = hectopascal = same value as millibars

If you change the units to inches, you also have to change the figures to inches, obviously.

I'm trying to set those:

min: 980,0
max 1045,0

and something happened :)

(I'm trying to use values from station records, min- ~4 and max + ~4)

but I'm absolutely not sure what I'm doing :)

You'll probably need to experiment for a while, to see what values give best results for you. What you're doing sounds reasonable. Of course, you may find that you can't get satisfactory results. The UK Met Office spent 33 million UK pounds on their latest computer, and they still get it wrong sometimes.
