I'm using my service provider to host my Cumulus data, and have everything working fine at the moment, but like brue24, my realtime guages do not show any data at all. In fact, they do not show time and date. I've tried every setting imaginable, but no data is present.

Website is http://members.aussiebroadband.com.au/muster/index.htm
Screen shot of my settings is attached. When I checked Use FTP Rename, the data would not reload at the set intervals.

Re: updating a local web server
Bob, I wonder if your hosting does not support txt files. Some of the free services do not. I had a quick look on their website but their support pages are quite limited. It might be worth checking with them
By looking here I would expect to find the file
http://members.aussiebroadband.com.au/m ... altime.txt
Your settings look correct so it could be a limitation of your hosting company
Maybe turn on FTP logging in Cumulus and then check the file realtimeftplog.txt after a minute or two
(Click on the Configuration menu within Cumulus and tick the 'FTP Log' menu option.)

Re: realtime.txt not uploading
David,
I checked the ftp site and you are correct, there is no realtime.txt file. I manually uploaded the file and the guage now shows data. But of course, the file is not updated with real data.
Here's a copy of the first part of the realtimeftplog.txt. It repeats itself from here on down.

Re: realtime.txt not uploading
In your Website settings in Cumulus, can you change the Directory to /muster
You really should not have to specify the full domain name too. You may even get away with specifying nothing in the directory as your hosting company will probably place you in the correct directory when you login

Re: realtime.txt not uploading
David,
Your a GEM! Omitted the path as you suggested, and everything is fine. So simple. I would never have tried that.
I've noticed a few other websites with no data in realtime guages. Perhaps they have the same issue.
Thanks
Bob
