Hi There,
I was closing Cumulus when it came up with a window saying something like - "Cumulus has stopped unexpectedly, please submit a bug report". I then went through a couple of steps to created the report file.
Where do you want such reports submitted? I don't know if it's a Davis issue, or a general Cumulus one.
Cheers
Andy

Re: Crash Reports
Hi Andy, attach it here (to this message)...it's a general Cumulus issue which does occasionally happen but let's look at the report and see

OK. Here you go.daj wrote:Hi Andy, attach it here (to this message)...it's a general Cumulus issue which does occasionally happen but let's look at the report and see
As an aside, I wanted to stop Cumulus because its "error" status light was flashing. I don't know what that indicator actually means. With it flashing, Cumulus seems to still be working fine and the uploaded data still looks good. The one above it (new record) only ever flashes when the error light flashes too. Weird.
Cheers
Andy

Re: Crash Reports
I can't see anything serious/obvious on the bug report -- Steve is far better at interpretting these however he is away this week.
Cumulus will ocassionally crash on shut down
http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#I_get_ ... se_Cumulus
Regarding the flashing error light -- if you click the red light it will pop up an window and tell you the problems. This is usually just the FTP process (sending data to the web) timing out and you will get this now and again (maybe a few times a day depending on your ISP, however it is nothing to worry about unless you get it on every connection)

Re: Crash Reports
Just to add that this is the 'standard' close down crash. It's something to do with the order that the threads get terminated, and may be a bug in one of the third-party components I use.
