Is there anyone that is a member of AnythingWeather.com?
Is cumulus able to send data to them?

Just curious...

I hadn't heard of them before. Had a quick look at their site, and they seem a bit commercial. You can have advertising with your data, and you can pay them to give them your data if you want be a 'premium' data provider! There seems to be no indication of the required protocol, and they seem to be US only.

And if you're already sending your weather data to CWOP, AnythingWeather is already helping themselves to that and presenting it. I don't know that this practice is "against the rules" at CWOP - since it's going to NWS, I think it becomes public domain, but it certainly goes against the grain and intent of the CWOP program.

There are (regretably) many sites that 'harvest' the work of others - but, that been said, many people here and elsewhere will 'lift' weather data from other sites without proper accreditation and on occasion without correct authority.

I have tryed to join anythingweather and got this message back as a reply...

"Well, Cumulus does not upload to us directly at this point, although I have been trying to get in touch with the developer to make this happen. You could upload to us directly, but nothing will happen until we get the data formatting all figured out and solidified. Do you know anyone at Cumulus we may be able to talk to?"

Yes, they emailed me a couple of days ago. They clearly aren't as busy as I am if they expect instant replies to queries like that.

I'm not really inclined to add this, as they seem highly commercial - it seems a bit cheeky to me to be asking free software authors to add facilities to increase their profits. And they only cover the USA.

But it can certainly go on the list of possible future enhancements. I just have a lot of higher priority stuff to do first.
