Not had a cloud in the sky for 12 hours and yet Cumulus is forecasting rain ...... Any idea why?

Mine says the same today, showers forecast, but every other source I've looked at says clear. In a way, I'm hoping it rains!

Actually, just been watching it for the last hour or so (nothing great on TV!) and it's been flipping betwwen Showery, becoming less settled and Fine Weather every minute or so.

The 'switching' of the forecast is because it's on the cusp of a decision and your wind direction is probably changing.
