Given the number of users of the FO and the extent of DIY necessary to keep them alive it would be very helpful to have the maintenance details and pictures in the Wiki - I don't know if this is possible?

Yes, I think so. The wiki does allow pictures.

pictures are free to use so the wiki is a good idea.
if someone can do that ,don't know much about that.
do i still need to upload them(how?) or can it be done by "save picture as" by someone.
