Hi There,
I have spent 2 hours searching on here and the wiki, so sorry if this has been asked before.
I updated to 1.89 in order to have the ability to change the AvgBearingMinutes in the cumulus.ini
However on updating and checking cumulus.ini, it does not have this option included after multiple updates.
Double checked Help/about, def is version 1.89.
Win XP SP3 here.
Please see debug log, and ini file attached.
I had Cumulus 2 loaded on my pc at the same time, so I uninstalled v2 and reinstalled v1.89 again, still no dice.
Please let me know if there is anything else needed.
P.s. I liked the way 2 looked, noticed it lacked the customisable graphs at that time.
I had some weird negative rain figures (rainfall to date and rain today both negative, when no rain had occured, andafter import of history data). Sorry, should have reported this prior on v2 forum, but wanted to let you know anyway Steve.
Thanks again, I will be donating from my next pay.

You do need to add the option to the cumulus.ini file e.g. AvgBearingMinutes=48. You can use notepad to add the feature

A general point to add to what Neil correctly says: Any ini-file only settings - those that don't appear on a configuration screen and require you to edit the cumulus.ini file - aren't present in the cumulus.ini file until you add them.

Oh dear, I am a muppet
So you just add it anywhere in the cumulus.ini file under the 'Station' area, by modifying it in Notepad?
I did try and search for this sooo much, anyone care to point me to a link that shows how this is done? As in, how to compare the config I have with the current maximum capability, and then modify the files accordingly? I wonder how much capability I am currently missing out on
Sorry again..

I usually mention any new ini-file setting in the changes.txt file and in the release announcements.I did try and search for this sooo much, anyone care to point me to a link that shows how this is done? All of the cumulus.ini settings are documented here: http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Cumulus.ini but it's possible that the very latest ones aren't there yet, I need to check at some point. Eventually, most of the ini-file settings should become 'proper' configuration settings, but as with everything it's a case of finding the time to do it.

It always seems to be that way. That's what I've found, anyway.steve wrote:Eventually, most of the ini-file settings should become 'proper' configuration settings, but as with everything it's a case of finding the time to do it.
