On another forum a user says he has a VP2 using Cumulus v1.8.9 and it shows the tenths in the wind MPH. He assures me his is not M/S but MPH. I have the same setup and I only see whole numbers always .0 for the tenths digit.
I see a very old post by Steve and am wondering what the current state is on the latest version? Is there an option to display tenths from a VP2 or is the other poster just mistaken?

Regarding spurious accuracy, I've just noticed that Cumulus displays mph wind speeds to 1 dp on VP and VP2 stations. I don't know how or when this happened, it used to display whole numbers. I guess I should fix that...

Thanks for any info. anyone is willing to share.

Re: VP2 wind digits
Cumulus displays VP2 wind speeds with a spurious decimal place. Normally I would expect the decimal to be zero, but in cases where Cumulus has to do a calculation, e.g. if you have set a "calibration" multiplier, or have asked it to calculate the average, or you don't use MPH, the decimal will contain a non-zero value. This is an error which I will fix in 1.9 at some point.
