Thanks Ray. Yours is not that great a difference to us EXCEPT on our low temps. Your 2010 seems like it was a cold winter.
I hadn't had any new records for a while but then earlier this month did get alltime highest wind gust and speed http://www.komokaweather.com/weather/record.htm

Enjoy,
Paul

Thanks Paul. My garden is surrounded on 3 sides by other houses so that tends to keep temps 1-2C higher than Mark in Wilmslow. Quick calc suggests your high gust was around 55mph, similar to mine.

I really wouldn't want your minimum temps! :o

A new all-time record low humidity reading for me too, going back to May 2007.

I'm using the new SHT31 sensor too on my VP2.

Lowest humidity today: 22% at 14:07

Mmmm
My RH dropped to 10% which matched my all time low back in April 2015, but looking at the trend it appears to be capped at that point for some reason ; the spike removal was set to 10%, coincidence?
I did get a new all time low dew point of - 21.1 °C
And last month also broke the high wind speed as described gust records.

Just had another all time low dew point of -24.02°C over night.
Regarding my 10% Rel Humidity I checked the manual  and the range is 10% to 99% and since its a cheap unit its not going to be that accurate any way :(

A new record for lowest air pressure of 995.3 hPa. The old record was 996 hPa on 16/10/2010 (major flooding rain) and this before using Cumulus.
This was after tropical cyclone Debbie that crossed northern Queensland as a Category 4 system causing severe destruction which then moved south as an Ex tropical cyclone and passed over Brisbane. This system brought severe weather including heavy rain, damaging winds and flooding. No major issues for myself but everyone was urged to get home and businesses to close by noon.

196.7 mm was recorded (180.3mm with weather station) mostly in a 24 hour period ending at about 11pm after the low moves through which makes a new record for highest daily rainfall of 175.1mm for March. This is the second highest all time daily total (but highest for weather station) and a max rain rate of 148.8 mm/hr which was a new record for March. Highest wind gust of 80.4 km/hr also and this happened as the low approached. This made a new record for March. The 10 min average wind speed was 36.5 km/hr. Today in fresh SW winds following the low a new monthly record also for wind run with 198 km so far.

Alltime records broken:

Thanks for the post Matt. Our son and his family now live in Brisbane and he called a couple days ago saying that everything was being closed and cancelled (including his interview for a job position). The twins, age 5, though were enjoying running outside in the heavy rain. We will Skype them this afternoon and get more details of their experience.

Another interesting stat is that there were only 4 days when the max failed to reach 10.0°C. A record for March for this site.

New all-time high temperature range yesterday here. From +1.5C at 06:53 to 21.3C at 16:12. Probably similar for many other UK stations yesterday.
