These recent low pressure systems seem to be coming over a little further south than previously.

New wind gust record of 55.5 mph !
New average wind speed of 42.4 mph

Cumulus now showing a new scale. (I wondered what would happen if the speed went over 50 mph.)

Pressure is now rising slowly. It bottomed out just over 3 hours ago. New all-time record...

Yes, same here. All time record of 963.6 at 1558. Now rising slowly. Interesting that this low hasn't been followed by a sudden short but marked increase in pressure, before falling back to near the lowest value before steadily rising out of the depression. That 'shoulder' or 'bump' was a noticeable feature of the last two or three serious lows we've had since mid-December.

Mike,

Pressure is reluctant to rise here too. The low is drifting slowly north rather than east. That probably explains it. I think another one is due on Tuesday but probably not as intense.
